The prosecutor's office is examining the case of a man who was held administratively liable for harassing his 13-year-old neighbor in the Andijan region. This was reported to Kun.uz by the spokesperson for the General Prosecutor's Office, Hayat Shamsutdinov.
According to available information, a resident of the Asaka district, B.N., filed a complaint with the Internal Affairs Department stating that his minor child, S.M., had been subjected to harassment by their neighbor, A.B., and his wife, Y.T., who proposed engaging in sexual relations, and demanded that measures be taken.
The Asaka district police department decided to refuse to initiate a criminal case and to hold the offenders administratively liable.
An administrative case was opened against the couple under part 1 of article 41-1 of the Administrative Code (Sexual Harassment), and the materials were forwarded to the Asaka District Court.
By the court's decision, issued in December, the man was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention, while his wife received a fine of 2 BRV (750,000 sums).
The man, disagreeing with the court's decision, filed an appeal with the regional court, which upheld the original ruling.
Currently, the Andijan regional prosecutor's office is reviewing the court documents related to this case.
Earlier, Kun.uz reported on this incident based on the court ruling. According to the document, the incident took place in the "Yuksalish" mahalla of the Asaka district. The 38-year-old B.A. offered the minor girl to satisfy his sexual needs for 100,000 sums.
B.A.'s wife, 33-year-old T.Y., also persuaded the 13-year-old girl to meet her husband's sexual needs for money, after which the girl, frightened by their actions, ran away from home.
The court document states that the couple admitted their guilt.
"On November 9, 2024, my husband asked me to bring the neighbor girl to satisfy his sexual needs. I brought the girl to our home and said that I would give her 50,000 sums if she satisfied my husband's needs. I regret what I did," the woman stated in court.
