Russia and Uzbekistan have established a strategic partnership in the military sector.

Key documents outlining the future military cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan were signed in Tashkent, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The parties approved the interaction plan for 2025, as well as the strategic partnership program for 2026-2030.

The documents were signed by the Minister of Defense of Russia, Andrey Belousov, and his Uzbek counterpart, Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov.

The cooperation plan for 2025 includes the implementation of 50 joint activities covering all areas of operation of the military departments of both countries.
