A Uzbekistan Airways plane flying from Bukhara to Moscow experienced an engine failure during its approach for landing, the company's press service reported.

"On January 15, 2025, flight HY9607, traveling from Bukhara to Moscow (Vnukovo), experienced an engine failure during its approach to the destination airport," - is stated in the Telegram channel of Uzbekistan Airways.

The aircraft landed safely, with 132 passengers on board.

Currently, the airline's technical services are conducting recovery operations. All subsequent flights scheduled for this aircraft will be carried out using a backup plane, which has already departed for Vnukovo Airport.
