The Interior Department of Jizzakh Region reported on a group brawl that occurred at a café.

A video of a fight that took place in a café in Jizzakh has surfaced on social media. The regional Internal Affairs Department commented on the situation.

According to the information, the incident occurred on August 23, 2024, at a café located in the "Dustlik" neighborhood. The conflict involved six residents from Jizzakh, Forish, and Zomin. As a result of the brawl, a Jizzakh resident, K.D., sustained moderate injuries.

The conflict arose when K.D. and his companions, who live in the "Khalqobod" neighborhood, refused to pay for the meals they consumed and insulted the café staff.

Five of the accused were detained, and the victim underwent a forensic medical examination. A criminal case has been initiated under paragraph "i" of part 2 of Article 105 (Intentional moderate bodily injury inflicted by a group of individuals or a member of an organized group or in its interests) of the Criminal Code. The investigation has concluded, and the case has been forwarded for further consideration in court.
