Reports indicate that Rasaev and Temirkhanov have also been contracted to attempt to assassinate the director of the Agency for Future Projects, Dmitry Li, for which they were promised a reward of $1.5 million.
According to information on Interpol's website, they are facing charges under articles 241 (Failure to report a crime or concealing it), 246 (Smuggling), and 248 (Illegal trafficking of firearms, ammunition, essential parts of firearms, explosives, explosive devices or explosive mechanisms) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
Some media outlets reported that the two men are Chechens.
Last month, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, denied reports from foreign media about a "Chechen trace" in the assassination attempt case in Uzbekistan.
As a reminder, two individuals fired multiple shots at Allamzhanov's Range Rover on the night of October 26 on Ifor Street in the Kibraisk District.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and a criminal case was opened under article 97 through article 25 (Attempted intentional murder) and article 248 (Illegal trafficking of firearms).
Uzbekistan also extradited Javlon Yunusov, who is also suspected of involvement in the assassination attempt.
