In Kashkadarya, workers from "Suvokov" were rescued after being trapped in a sewer well and unable to escape.

Rescue service employees from the Ministry of Emergency Situations assisted citizens who became trapped in a sewage well. This was reported by the ministry’s press service.

It was noted that on January 15 at 10:16 in the "Tutzor" neighborhood of the city of Shahri Sabz, two employees of LLC "Suvokova" descended into a sewage well located on the roadside for cleaning but were unable to get back out.

According to available information, one of the workers went down into a well that was 3 meters deep and 1 meter in diameter to clear a blockage. However, due to rising water levels and suction, he started to feel unwell and couldn't escape. His partner, who went down to help, also became trapped.

Emergency Ministry rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and, using special equipment, rescued the workers, after which they were sent to the hospital for qualified medical assistance. "They are currently under the supervision of doctors. There are no casualties as a result of the incident," the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, on Sultanali Mashkhadi street, one resident was rescued after falling into a 10-meter pit dug for a toilet.
