On December 17, in the "Kunchikar" neighborhood of Karshi, a 46-year-old man and his three children tragically lost their lives due to carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a buildup in the heating system. According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, the gas emanated from a section of a modern dual-circuit heating boiler connected to the main ventilation pipe, which was located in the building's basement.

A tragedy occurred on December 17 at around 3:40 PM in the "Kunchikar" neighborhood of the city of Karshi. Citizen B.T. and his children T.A. (a boy born in 2006), S.A. (a girl born in 2008), and M.A. (a girl born in 2014) lost their lives in their home due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
"According to preliminary data, the release of carbon monoxide occurred from a section of the pipe connected to the common ventilation system, which was installed for the expulsion of gases from a dual-circuit heating boiler in the basement," the prosecution stated in a message provided to Kun.uz.
The city prosecutor's office in Karshi is conducting a preliminary investigation.
