According to reports from the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Namangan Region, the principal of School No. 8 in the Chartak District organized gambling right in his office.

On December 17, during a raid conducted by officers from the Chartak District Department of Internal Affairs, the principal was apprehended while gambling in his office with card partners. Currently, the district police are conducting a preliminary investigation into this matter.

The employment contract with the principal has been unilaterally terminated at the initiative of the employer due to gross violations of internal labor regulations.

A meeting was also held at the school with the participation of regional and district officials, during which the principal's actions were subjected to harsh criticism .

Previously, in Samarkand, the principal of a school was dismissed for playing cards on school premises.
