A criminal case has been opened against a man who harassed a minor on a bus.

A video has circulated on social media showing a child being harassed on a bus. This incident has been taken under control by the children's ombudsman.

It has been established that on February 4 of this year, in a passenger bus in Tashkent, a citizen identified as H. G. (male, born in 1988), while under the influence of alcohol, committed sexual harassment and other illegal actions against a minor, U. I. (male, born in 2012).

The Tashkent city police department conducted an investigation into the incident captured on video.

In connection with this matter, the Investigative Department of the Chilanzar District Police has initiated a criminal case under Article 129 of the Criminal Code (Committing lewd acts against a person under the age of sixteen). The suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural law. An investigation is ongoing.
