A fire broke out at a gas station in Samarkand.

In the Pastdargom district of the Samarkand region, a fire broke out at a gas station supplying liquefied and compressed gas. This information was reported by the press service of the regional Emergency Situations Department.

It was reported that on December 11, 2024, at 21:00 , a fire was reported at the gas filling station in the Guzalkent settlement of the Pastdargom district.

Five fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, arriving at 21:27 . The fire was completely extinguished by 21:50 .

It was determined that during the refueling of the liquefied gas (propane) tank, technological processes were violated, leading to a localized gas ignition at the valve.

As a result of the fire, the building, structures, and equipment were not damaged. There were no injuries or fatalities.

It is indicated that a preliminary investigation is currently underway regarding the incident.
