In the Samarkand region, a Cobalt driver failed to comply with the lawful demands of a traffic inspector and drove off with the officer hanging onto the car door. This was reported by the press service of the regional traffic police.

The incident occurred on February 4 at around 19:10 in the Akdarin district of the Samarkand region. A traffic police inspector noticed a Cobalt vehicle parked in a prohibited area and requested the driver to present their documents. The driver refused to comply with the inspector's lawful demands and began to drive away.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of article 219 (Resistance to a representative of the authorities or a person performing civic duty) of the Criminal Code. The driver has been detained in accordance with the law.
