At the Dalaquzar – Nazarbek railway crossing, a train collided with a Damas vehicle. According to information from JSC "Uzbekistan Railways," the incident occurred on December 15. The driver of the Damas ignored the warning signs and, in adverse weather conditions, attempted to cross the railway tracks, but the vehicle became stuck.
The owner of the Damas, along with other drivers, tried to move the car, but they were unsuccessful.
The conductor of the freight train, noticing the stranded vehicle, applied emergency brakes. However, considering that the braking distance of a freight train is between 800 to 1000 meters, avoiding the collision was impossible.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
