Another banker has been appointed as the new head of the capital's Department of Employment and Poverty Reduction.

Before his appointment, he served as the deputy head of the main department of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

It is worth noting that in September of last year, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction was headed by Botir Zakhidov. His deputies were appointed as Sirojiddin Bobokulov, Zafar Azimov, and Alisher Muratov. All of them joined the ministry from the banking sector.
