Remote areas of Uzbekistan will receive investments and create new job opportunities.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the President has announced new measures aimed at supporting businesses and enhancing living conditions in remote and disadvantaged areas of the country. This was stated during a meeting focused on poverty reduction, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

As an example, the successful experience of "Uzpromstroibank" was highlighted, which assisted a major exporter from Kuva in implementing projects for broccoli cultivation and wood processing in the Kungrad district of Karakalpakstan by providing low-interest loans.

This approach has been recognized as successful, leading to plans for allocating 3.2 trillion sums in 2025 for infrastructure development in 71 districts with challenging living conditions. These funds will be used to modernize one thousand complex mahallas to attract entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs are already prepared to implement 3,500 projects totaling 31 trillion sums, which will create 200,000 new jobs. To support these initiatives, the Ministry of Economy and Finance has been tasked with allocating an additional one trillion sums for infrastructure development.
