Uzbekistan and the UAE have officially signed documents to establish a strategic partnership.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, following discussions between the presidents of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi, a Declaration on the establishment of a strategic partnership and other documents were signed, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

In addition to the Declaration, the parties have signed several important documents:

an intergovernmental Agreement on mutual encouragement and protection of investments;
an intergovernmental Agreement on financial and technical cooperation;
an Agreement on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology, and conformity assessment.

Interagency agreements covering investment cooperation, collaboration in industry, advanced technologies, justice, agriculture, food security, and minerals were also signed.

Additionally, a protocol on cooperation in culture was concluded, along with an Agreement on interaction between diplomatic academies.
