The law will also aid in identifying violations of legislation in various economic sectors through the processing of space imagery.
Senators noted that the adoption of the law will enable the country to effectively manage land relations, geology, seismic safety, transportation, as well as agriculture, forestry, water, and road management. Additionally, legal guarantees will be established for conducting space activities while mitigating potential risks and ensuring environmental protection, defense, and security.
It is worth mentioning that earlier reports indicated the implementation of aerospace monitoring in Uzbekistan to detect illegal land seizures, monitor the condition of forest and agricultural lands, subsurface resources, and water levels in reservoirs.
