Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed Farrukh Rustamov as the head of "Uzkomnazorot," the regulatory inspection body for informatization and telecommunications under the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

He succeeded Azaam Abdullaev, who held this position since April 27, 2022.
Previously, Rustamov led the Uzmobile branch.
