The Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov has been appointed as the chairman of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan.

In this role, he replaces Alisher Sa'dullaev, who led the federation since May 2022.

Alisher Sa'dullaev has, in turn, been appointed as the first deputy chairman of the federation.
