The Attorney General has taken the helm of the Wrestling Sports Association.

On January 14, an extraordinary reporting and election conference of the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan was held at the National Olympic Committee.

During the event, the issue of electing a new chairman was discussed. The executive committee of the association nominated the Attorney General, the head of the Kurash Federation, Yuldoshev Nigmatilla Tulkinovich for this position.

Sports Minister Adkham Ikramov noted that Nigmatilla Yuldoshev's extensive experience in sports management will help elevate the development of wrestling in Uzbekistan to a new level.

The participants of the event unanimously approved Nigmatilla Yuldoshev's candidacy, and he was elected as the chairman of the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan.

Previously, the position of association chairman was held by Salim Abduvaliev, who was later prosecuted.
