The World Championship in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for adults and youth has concluded in Tashkent.
The adult competitors secured the top position in the overall team ranking with a total of 12 medals: 3 gold, 1 silver, and 8 bronze.
Specifically, gold medals were won by Jamshid Tillaev (in the weight category up to 61.2 kg), Zafar Rashidov (up to 65.8 kg), and Asrorbek Anvarjonov (up to 97 kg).
The youth national team members also excelled at the MMA World Championship, bringing home 18 medals: 4 gold, 4 silver, and 10 bronze.
Among the young wrestlers, gold medals were claimed by Zafarjon Asatov (up to 65.8 kg), Mirjalol Uralov (up to 97 kg), Muzayana Sadriddinova (up to 65.8 kg), and Khurshid Rozikova (up to 79.4 kg).
