President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been elected as the chairman of the National Olympic Committee.

During the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee, a decision was made to appoint the president to the highest position within the committee. Otabek Umarov has been appointed as the first deputy chairman.

On November 25, the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan took place, during which an organizational issue was addressed.

The candidacy of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was nominated and unanimously elected as the chairman of the National Olympic Committee.

The General Assembly also elected Otabek Umarov as the first vice-chairman of the NOC, Sherzod Tashmatov as the vice-chairman, and Oybek Kasymov as the general secretary of the committee.
