Apple is developing a new smartphone, the iPhone 17 Slim (Air), with a thickness of just 5–6 mm, reports The Information.
The device is currently in the prototype stage, and due to its minimal thickness, it will feature only one speaker.
According to Phone Arena, the smartphone will eliminate the slot for a physical SIM card, opting for eSIM instead. Additionally, the developers will forgo multiple rear cameras, settling for just one.
The battery capacity will be 3000 mAh, and the memory options will range from 128 GB to 1 TB. The anticipated price of the iPhone 17 Slim is expected to be $1299, which is significantly higher than the average price of the iPhone 16 Plus, which launched at $899 in October.
