The upcoming flagship from the company, Oppo Find N5, is expected to be the thinnest foldable smartphone at the time of its release — its thickness slightly exceeds that of a USB-C port.

Slim Body, Powerful Specs

Zhou Yibao, product manager for the Oppo Find N series, shared images on Weibo showcasing the refined design of the Find N5. For comparison, the thickness of the iPhone 16 Pro is 8.3 mm, while the Honor Magic V3 measures 4.4 mm on each side. If the rumors hold true, the Oppo Find N5 will not only be thinner than the Honor Magic V3 but will also surpass the upcoming iPhone 17 Air, which is rumored to have a thickness of 5.5 mm.

Despite its record thinness, the Find N5 does not compromise on functionality. According to insiders, the device is equipped with a Hasselblad camera, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (with a rumored 7-core design), supports wireless charging, and features a more powerful battery.

Release Date and Expectations

Oppo fans in China can expect an official announcement of the smartphone as early as February. The global premiere may take place a bit later — in March, likely during the MWC exhibition, where the device could be introduced under the OnePlus Open 2 brand.
