A Japanese company has unveiled a prototype of a "human washing machine," where users will need to wash themselves.
The development by Science Co, named "Mirai Ningen Sentakuki," is equipped with features to measure pulse and other biometric indicators to automatically select the optimal water temperature. A relaxing video will be displayed on the device's inner screen, and after the procedure, the machine will dry the user.
The prototype will be showcased at an exhibition in Osaka, where it can serve up to eight people a day.
While mass production is not currently planned, the company is considering the possibility of releasing a compact version for home use in the future.
