On January 14, an extraordinary reporting and election conference of the Uzbekistan Wrestling Association took place at the National Olympic Committee venue.

During the event, the election of a new chairman was discussed. The executive committee of the association nominated the Attorney General and head of the Khuresh Federation, Yuldoshev Nigmatilla Tulkinovich, for this position.

The Minister of Sports, Adham Ikramov, emphasized that Nigmatilla Yuldoshev's extensive experience in sports management would significantly advance the development of wrestling in Uzbekistan.

The participants unanimously approved Nigmatilla Yuldoshev's candidacy, and he was elected as the chairman of the Uzbekistan Wrestling Association.

Previously, the position of the association's chairman was held by Salim Abduvaliev, who was later held criminally accountable.
